Nano Day
October 9 is National Nanotechnology Day — the day that celebrates the world at the scale of a nanometer, 10^-9 or one-billionth of a meter, and shines a light on the potential of nanoscale discoveries and innovations to help solve some of society’s biggest challenges. This 10/9, MIT.nano has unveiled a collection of nanoStories, brief snippets that tell how everyday experiences are shaped by what happens when things get really (really) small. Based on writings by MIT students, the nanoStories provide a fascinating peek into life at the nanoscale, from medicines to gecko feet to tiny transistors to your morning drink.

Thanks for reading, and enjoy your day!
